Dr. Kellie Bryant Director of the Center for Innovation in Education Excellence, National League for Nursing Dr. Kellie Bryant is the Director of the Center for Innovation in Education Excellence at the National League for Nursing, with over 20 years of teaching experience, including 17 years specializing in simulation. She leads the development of innovative products and services to advance nursing education, including faculty development programs and technology-driven solutions. She also plays a key role in creating AI software programs to transform nursing education and recently earned a certificate in AI in Health Care: From Strategies to Implementation from Harvard Medical School. A sought-after keynote speaker, Dr. Bryant has delivered national and international presentations on simulation, faculty development, and AI integration in nursing education. She is a recognized leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), serving as a consultant for Advancing Health Equity and securing grants from Columbia University and Johnson & Johnson to create nursing pathway programs for historically marginalized students. Dr. Bryant serves as vice chair of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare’s DEI committee, is a board member of the Global Network for Simulation in Healthcare, and holds elected positions with the International Nursing Association of Clinical Simulation Learning and the Northern Virginia Nurses Association. Her contributions have earned her awards from the National Black Nurses Association and the International Council of Nurses. Dr. Victoria Brazil Victoria Brazil is an emergency physician, educator, and simulation specialist. She is Professor of Emergency Medicine and Medical Director of the Simulation Service at Gold Coast Health, and leads the Bond University Translational Simulation Collaborative. Victoria’s main interests are in connecting education with patient care - through translational simulation in healthcare, and in developing high performing healthcare teams. She has authored over 100 peer reviewed publications in health professions education, simulation and teamwork in healthcare. Victoria is Senior Editor at Advances in Simulation and co-producer of Simulcast, a podcast about healthcare simulation. Marta Iscla Program Manager, MSF Field Simulation TIC Marta graduated in Nursing and has been working with Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) since 1996. She holds a Master’s degree in Public Health and Tropical Medicine in developing countries, as well as a Master’s degree in Healthcare Simulation and Education, specializing in systems-focused care simulation, patient safety simulation, and advanced healthcare debriefing. She is currently the MSF Field Simulation Program Manager. Dr. Adeel Khatri, MBBS, FCPS Program Director for Emergency Medicine Residency Program, Indus Hospital and Health Network Dr. Adeel Khatri is the Program Director for Emergency Medicine Residency Program at the Indus Hospital and Health Network, Karachi, Pakistan. He is also completing his IPSS-INSPIRE fellowship in pediatric simulation. Dr Khatri is an active teacher and facilitator in many simulation-based programs including the Certification Program in Emergency Medicine, Foundation Program I Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and Collaborative Advance Trauma Course, and is leading the Simulation Instructors programs from Indus Hospital. He is also a faculty in the University of Lahore Simulations Faculty Development Program. He’s a recipient of the Chad Epps Bursary for Master Debriefers course (the Debriefers Academy Canada). His main area of interest is low-cost solutions for integration of interprofessional system-level simulations into curricula and hospital operations for development of a sustainable simulation culture in LMICs. |
