Join us on Wednesday, August 28th, at 12:00 ET (US) / 17:00 UTC for an insightful discussion on creating an innovative task trainer. This session will explore the development of a cutting-edge simulation tool designed for procedures commonly performed in Emergency Departments, Urgent Care, and Outpatient Clinics. Medical education is rapidly evolving, moving beyond the traditional “see one, do one, teach one” model. Simulation-based training now plays a crucial role in teaching both current and future healthcare providers. It offers a safe and controlled environment for mastering technical skills, ensuring practitioners are well-prepared before performing procedures on real patients.

Our goal is to develop a novel, clean, and reusable task trainer that overcomes the limitations of existing models. Unlike traditional trainers that may use raw animal products or human cadavers, this new trainer is designed to be cost-effective, realistic, and reusable, with the added capability of ultrasound integration. This enhances the learning experience by accurately replicating all the steps necessary for procedures like cutaneous abscess drainage and foreign body removal. Don't miss this opportunity to learn about the future of medical simulation and how it can improve patient care and medical training.
