Simulation Foundations:

This course covers essential topics such as simulation design, scenario development, debriefing techniques, and best practices in pediatric simulation. Participants will have the flexibility to access the course content at their convenience, allowing them to learn at their own pace and revisit key concepts as needed. Upon course completion, participants will receive a coupon redeemable for in-person simulation workshops or courses offered by the International Pediatric Simulation Society (IPSS), providing a seamless transition from online learning to hands-on practice. Whether you are a novice or an experienced educator, the IPSS Academy: Simulation Foundations course equips you with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in pediatric simulation education. To complete the course, you must pass the assessment offered at the end of each segment. 

*Completion is a prerequisite for IPSS Academy.

Building Foundational Knowledge: To provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the principles, theories, and best practices of pediatric simulation education, facilitating a solid foundational knowledge base essential for effective simulation-based learning.

Promoting Conceptual Understanding: To facilitate participants' comprehension of key concepts and methodologies in pediatric simulation, enabling them to grasp theoretical frameworks and fundamental principles that underpin simulation-based education.
Fostering Professional Development: To prepare participants for career advancement by providing them with the necessary knowledge and expertise to excel as simulation educators, fostering a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement in pediatric simulation education.
