    David,

Great question. It can be hard to find journals that will publish innovative skill trainer development, unless you have some outcome data to report as well. If you just want to publish your experience developing it, and some instructions for others to use, I suggest the IPSS Curues Channel: https://www.cureus.com/channels/ipss

There are a few 'Technical Reports' there with details on how to make innovate (low cost) pediatric simulators.

    I hope this helps!

My colleagues and I have data on a new task trainer that we developed for training students on I&D of abscesses and foreign body removal using ultrasound. Does anyone have suggestions of an appropriate journal to publish this type of work? (looking for reputable, low fees, fairly quick turnaround) Maybe Cureus?
