Meet the Speaker:

Vijayanand Jamalpuri, MD, FRCPCH
Consultant Neonatologist, Rainbow Children's Hospital, Hyderabad, India and President, PediSTARS, India
Dr. Vijayanand Jamalpuri is an alumnus of Osmania Medical College, with an MD in Pediatrics from Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, India. He received further training in Pediatrics and Neonatology from the UK and New Zealand.
Dr Vijayanand has a Postgraduate certificate in medical education from University of Bristol and completed IPSS-INSPIRE Fellowship in Simulation. He serves as faculty for DNB Paediatrics, Fellowship in Neonatology, and the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), simulation-based courses and faculty development program in simulation. As a passionate medical educator, he advocates for translational learning and has played a pivotal role in promoting simulation-based learning for enhanced patient safety in India.
Beyond his medical pursuits, Dr. Vijayanand is a Telugu poet and lyricist and composed songs in Telugu for health education and promotion.
