A typical CV offers a narrative of success that renders our setbacks invisible to ourselves and others. A ‘CV of Failures’ is a record of every unsuccessful job application, refused grant proposal, rejected paper and every other monumental failure in your academic history. The CV of Failures reminds us of the missing truths … and some of the essential steps of what it takes to become a scholar. In this session, Adam Cheng shares stories from his CV of Failures, and uses these stories to illuminate lessons learned to build a career in healthcare simulation.
