Join us as we explore innovative VR applications in pediatric healthcare simulation beyond the excitement around this new and rapidly evolving technology as we delve into the functional deployment of these tools. While these immersive environments and interactive scenarios can enhance clinical training, patient safety, and emotional preparedness for young patients, join us as we discuss navigating widespread adoption at scale within your institution. We will share some common pitfalls and barriers encountered through this process as well as tips for improving buy-in with learners, peers, and other departments needed (such as networking, IT, Information Security, etc.) in order to successfully deploy your VR program. Ideal for healthcare professionals and educators, this session offers insights on determining the best VR solutions to meet your needs, identifying the hardware needs to support your solution, and developing strategies to deploy your solution throughout your pediatric simulation programs.
